The Revenue Assurance Executive is responsible for identifying, monitoring, and preventing revenue leakages across Airtel Tanzania’s GSM networks and billing systems. The position ensures compliance with regulatory and internal standards, performs advanced SQL-based data analysis, and works closely with different teams to minimize revenue losses, particularly during the launch of new products and services.

Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Assurance & Compliance: Maintain GSM compliance above 99%, implement Revenue Assurance procedures, and regularly audit service and revenue processes to identify and prevent leakages.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use SQL and database management systems (DBMS) to analyze subscriber and revenue performance, identify unusual trends, and assess product performance.
- Product Testing & UAT: Work with cross-functional teams to review system architecture, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new products, and ensure accurate implementation from the start.
- Reporting & Escalation: Prepare weekly and monthly management and regulatory reports, investigate revenue loss incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and follow up on audit findings until resolved.
- Standards & Audit Compliance: Support Group-wide Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management initiatives, maintain standardized UAT documentation, and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in telecommunications, ICT, billing, or revenue assurance.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) and relational database management systems (DBMS) is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of telecom charging systems, tariff structures, interconnect services, and roaming billing processes.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively with different teams, project management awareness, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
