Position: Housekeeping Supervisor
The housekeeping supervisor plays a crucial role in meeting the objectives and maintaining the quality standards of the housekeeping department. This position influences every aspect of the department, including cleanliness standards, staff morale, budget targets, and collaboration with other departments. Therefore, the housekeeping supervisor is responsible.
Responsibilities
- The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department.
- Collaborating with the Director of Housekeeping and Assistant Housekeeping Managers, they ensure efficiency in the department’s administrative tasks and take on additional special projects as needed.
- The Supervisor manages Room Attendants, House Attendants, and Public Area Attendants to guarantee that their tasks are completed according to the established standards.
- They must also have a solid understanding of all housekeeping cleaning equipment and the preventive maintenance program for these machines.
- Additionally, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for training staff on the proper use and handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals, as well as overseeing the general cleaning of public areas and outlets under the housekeeping department’s responsibility.
Experience
A minimum of 6 months of experience in housekeeping is required. Previous supervisory experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in English and the ability to use a computer.

Hours Required: Nine-hour shifts with a one-hour unpaid break; workdays and hours may vary depending on business needs.
